Joey is a boy who’s bored. He has nobody to play with. After a while, Joey decides that a puppy might be the perfect solution to his problem. His mom agrees, and the two find the perfect puppy at the Southeast Beagle Rescue.
A Puppy for Joey is a cute story in rhyme that encourages families to adopt homeless animals. The illustrations are charming, and compliment the story well. A portion of the proceeds from sales of this book will go to the Southeast Beagle Rescue. Children ages 4-7 who like dogs and dream of having one of their own, will enjoy this book.
